Bethan Jones

bethanA Ceredigion farmer’s daughter, Bethan joined CARA in April 2015, having previously worked over 17 years for the Welsh Office Agriculture Department at various locations throughout Wales, 5 of which were as a Field Officer based in Haverfordwest.

Later, she was a member of the Department’s  CAP Reform team initially responsible for setting up IACS, and after she left the Civil Service to raise a family, she became Secretary to the All Wales Livestock Quotas Appeals Tribunal.

Her role at CARA include VAT, dealing with client queries on ‘Rural Payments Wales on-line’ and helping out with SAF and other Scheme applications.

Bethan’s interests include travel and walking. She also helps with the family’s small stud of  Welsh Cobs.
